As the sun poked out early that morning, the excitment of a beautiful wedding day heightened. After the weeks of rain during this wedding season, it was only fitting that the sun would show up for Kaitlin and Jon’s outstandingly gorgeous wedding. The Leslie-Alford-Mims House was the absolute perfect spot for their their story to unfold. Kaitlin’s wedding dress was elegant and coupled perfectly with the classically beautiful floor-length navy bridesmaid dresses. Jon and Kaitlin were both surrounded by their many loved ones as they got ready to walk down the isle to say their “I do’s”. With the exquisite Mims House as the backdrop, the ceremony filled the hearts of everyone present with pure joy as the two became one.

Then it was time to party and let me tell you that Kaitlin and Jon and their families know how to celebrate! The food, catered by City Barbecue, brought a comforting feel, while the DJ, Darrick Woods, played the perfect music to remind us of the love that Kaitlin and Jon share. As they danced their first dance and began their lives as husband and wife, I was just amazed that I was given the opportunity to capture it all. Kaitlin and Jon are two of the nicest people that I have met and to watch their story unfold before my eyes brought joy to my heart. It will be amazing to see what ways they grow together as one unit and what wonderful things marriage has in store for them!
